Westone Spectrum Series II
(The 1988 UK catalogue that these models appear in does not mention body wood for the 1012 and 2111 models, they may be laminates. All other models are simply described as having 'solid wood' bodies. Please see the catalogue for pictures of these models. All of these models only appear in the 1988 UK catalogue - so while some may have been made by Matsumoku, the majority of Spectrum Series II guitars and basses - any made after January 1987 - were made in Korea)

Thanks to Jimmy Moffat for the pictures of the red one,and to Robert Sheppard for the pictures of the blue one.
With only a slight redesign (Kahler trem and reverse headstock) this model would be a Corsair GT
Models that originally had the Bendmaster Deluxe trem were later (88/89?) fitted with the TRS-101 made by Takeuchi of Japan.Buying tips - Check the trem and string lock are complete, missing parts will be very hard to obtainCheck for cracking of the paint finish on the body, a common problem on Korean made models produced for the UK/European market. Avoid any guitar that shows signs of this.Check for damage to the headstock, common on models with pointy headstocks. Small chips out of the end are fine, cracks may lead to the headstock splitting.
