Bound body (Wood unknown) with beveled heel, satin Maple neck, reverse angled tilt back headstock, Rosewood 24 fret flat radius fingerboard. Pickups - H/S/H covered 'Heatwave' Alnico Master volume, master tone controls, 2 mini switches for pickups with coil tap. Kahler Spyder double locking trem, black hardware and knobs.
Available in Black (WE7500BK), Metallic Blue (WE7500MTB), Metallic Red (WE7500MTR), Vintage Sunburst (WE7500VS) and Fluorescent Pink with Maple fingerboard (WE7501FLP).
Appears in the 1989 'New Horizons' catalogue and the October 1989 pricelist. New price was $650.
A custom version of the Corsair Pro was available with added DSR5 Harmonic Enhancer, available in Black (WE7550BK) and Metallic Blue (WE7550MTB), both priced at $725 (October 1989 pricelist)
This is a post-Matsumoku model, probably made in Korea
